All of our vehicles are purpose built for our trips. We carry ten people in comfort with plenty of room to relax on the days we have to drive long distances. The atmosphere on the truck is very sociable, we don't believe in sitting like you are on a bus! Seats are arranged in a horseshoe shape allowing for easy interaction between group members, we sit very high up which gives us a fantastic view. The front windows are tinted to give relief from the sun and the side windows roll up to give an unrivalled feeling of being out in the open! All of our vehicles are kitted out with everything needed for an expedition, from tents to treated drinking water, guide books to cooking equipment and everything in between. We carry 1000ltrs of fuel, allowing us to go wherever we want and as all our vehicles are 4 wheel drive, we really mean anywhere! We have an excellent sound system on each truck, bring your walkman, cd or mp3 player and plug it in, you can charge batteries, and even contact home as we also carry a satellite phone. Everything is there for you to have a fantastic experience, just bring your clothes and a sleeping bag!  Tents
All of our tents are 3 man, we only put 2 people in each to allow for comfort and privacy, if you come on a trip alone, you will be sharing a tent with someone of the same sex. You cannot get better tents than the ones we have, they are made by Mountain Hardwear and are the ultimate in expedition tents. Very easy to put up and take down with loads of ventilation for those hot nights in the desert! Each truck carries 5 Orange Evo2 mountain bikes, these are top quality bikes, hard tail with suspension front forks, they are perfect for any terrain we come across. Take a bike out for a bit of gentle exploring or hurtle down mountain sides, the choice is yours! Mountain boards
You may not have seen these before, the best fun you can have!! They are like big skate boards that you strap yourself in and roll down hill. These boards are made by NoSno, the best equipment available, they take a little getting used to but what a rush! A new addition to our vehicles, we now carry traction kites, buggies and land boards. There are loads of places where you can use these, whether it be on the coast or in the desert. You are welcome to bring your own kite along and use our boards and buggies. Kayaks
We carry kayaks on our 4 month expeditions, see West Africa from a different perspective, kayak up the River Niger to Timbucto, an awesome experience! |
